just watched Code Geass Season 1 up till episode 15. Episode 14 made me cried. why? cause the girl lost all the memories, including those of the ones she loved the most. her late father and the main guy character in the anime. just wondering have everyone had the feeling that you want a part of your memory to be removed? i did and still does. but on second thought, was it really beneficial to have part of memory removed? or fully removed? if you are given a choice, would you want it to be removed? and which part of it? or all of them and relive a new life?
for me i want to take out all the sadness in my life. those quarrels, those arguements.. be it with family or friends. but i guess that way i would never appreciate the little happiness that i hold. or maybe have it all removed then. but i still want to remember certain people and things that are dear to me. if only human's brain and feelings can be sorted out and arranged nicely into folders as a computer.
things that are unwanted, you can just shift-delete it away from the computer. or as and when we want to remove our memory, we can just hit the reformat button or have the whole harddisk changed. if only humans are less complicated. if only we can be shut down too. full system shut down. and if only our sickness can all be cured by anti-virus program with a click away. people around us are just like owners of computers. when a certain period of time is up, we're considered old and unwanted. eventually abandoned for newer ones or people.
if i'm a computer, i would want to uninstall Naive1.0, Emotions9.0, Soft-hearted7.0 and install Cunning8.0, Cold-blooded9.0, PokerFace10.0. if only i'm a computer. does this sounds like the husband and wife applications email? haha. part of inspiration from that mail. part of it triggered by the anime. rest of it resemblance of inner soul.
