i really wonder how many guys can do that. promises can be for very minor things. not only for major things. as minor as just fixing a time and place to meet, things to do. for example, a boy already said to his girl that "tonight, i'll accompany you till morning." but, the boy be it tired or other reasons, he couldn't kept those words. something got into her eyes. something sharp just poked her heart or may have already pierced through it. it's bleeding badly. is she thinking too much? being petty? or simply demanding?
another example, a girl told a boy that let's meet at this place and this time for lunch. the boy waited and waited. his calls and smses didn't seems to reach her. finally, after hours of waiting, she just simply sms him back saying that "i'm sorry. i forget about it and overslept." the boy would be nonchalent about it and replied "it's okay", but deep down, it's the same as the girl from previous example. he's hurt. rejected and dejected. remembering an appointment with him is it that hard? or simply he's not important in her life?
how many times in life are we invisible to others? i really wonder. could it just have been a slip of mind that existence of a particular person? or it wasn't meant to be kept in mind in the first place? people always ask this "if one day the one who can make you cry, is the only one that can make you smile, what will you do?" i could never answer this question. cause whenever i'm in such situations, there's nothing i can do but throwing that question away with tears, with stories, with chats and jokes. or simply, keep it deep inside and locked it up during sleeping time. once you wake up, everything's still fine and well, like nothing has happened at all.
